“The winning ticket for the beautiful 2018 Patriotic Quilt made by Trudy Bly belonged Trudy Vering of St Jude Parish in Redmond.  Ms Vering said has NEVER won anything.  She is a retired Navy Nurse and appreciates everything that can be done for our Wounded Warriors by Heartbeat.

The total donations raised through the raffle were $530.00.  A check has been mailed to Heartbeat designating the proceeds to be directed toward the Christmas Wish Program.

Other opportunities to help Heartbeat and/or our Military this Christmas include Giving Tree ornaments, Adopt-a-Family, Baker Angels(Sunday morning at our Hall), or donating on the Heartbeat website;

“Knights of Columbus, Supreme Headquarters in New Haven, CT has determined that Knights in WA State can use the Emblems of the Order to show our support to Heartbeat Serving Wounded Warriors®.  This is a significant endorsement of this fine organization of volunteers who are providing Therapy, Morale Building, and Assistance Programs to wounded Veterans throughout WA.

The endorsement follows the presentation of the 2015 To Be A Patriot Award to WA State Knights for our work with Heartbeat.”

Heartbeat is very grateful to the Knights of Columbus in WA State for such outstanding support year round to assist our Wounded Warriors. Thank you!!
