Heartbeat is extremely grateful to the Allison Foundation for their generous donation to our Back-to-School Program. With their help, Heartbeat was able to buy new school supplies for the children of our Special Forces and Ranger Units. Because of the support by the Allison Foundation, these children will have a great start to the new school year. THANK YOU!

A very warm Thank you to the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe for their very generous grant of $15,000. We are so grateful for this to be used in our therapy programs. The Indian Tribes have been particularly supportive of our Wounded Warriors. Thank you very much for making such a difference!
TULALIP TRIBES CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS (TULALIP CARES): Since 2007, Tulalip Cares has supported Heartbeat and our programs through the generous grants they have given us. This year we received a grant in the amount of $4,000 for our Equine Therapy Programs. Thank you so much for your generosity and continued support. In addition to Tulalip Cares support, the Canoes Cabaret, which is the nightclub inside the Tulalip Resort Casino and manager Kelly Bindewald, have sponsored a Veteran’s Day Tribute: The Best of the Northwest for the past two years. The proceeds from each ticket sales were donated to Heartbeat. The entertainment was organized by Dan Nunn and Nunn Better Productions.

Heartbeat was very fortunate to be honored by the Tulalip Tribe, Tulalip Resort and Casino, Mel Sheldon, Marilyn Sheldon, Ken Kettler and Lisa Severn at their recent event the “Taste of Tulalip”. It was a grand event with great food, wine tasting and music. Thank you all for inviting Heartbeat and for allowing us the opportunity to show our gratitude to those that serve our country and you who support them.

Thank you so much to Union Bank and the Marco Heidner Foundation for the $5,000 grant we received this July for our Scuba Warriors Program. Since we have had to move to a private swimming pool for the classroom and practice part of the program, our costs have significantly increased. This grant will be so helpful with these cost increases.
